Do I still need to approve a proof if I send you my design on a CD or floppy?
Yes. Your formal approval in writing of the proof (which we will make) gives us assurance that you have carefully reviewed all aspects of the design of the sign or plaque, including sign or plaque size, number of sides, material, relief type, whether it is sandblasted or not, overall layout and spacing, spelling, text font style and size, artwork, and colors. If you send us a detailed drawing and specifications, we will reflect these details and your drawing in the proof. Even when we make signs for the Federal or State Governments, and they send us detailed drawings and specifications in an RFP, we still have to provide our factory proofs to them which reflect their specifications for their approval. After you give approval of the final proof (which we refer to as the Factory Proof or Shop Proof) , no changes can be made. We make the sign exactly like the Factory Proof.
