Above is shown a carved wall plaque for the Great Seal of the University of California, at Berkeley (UCB) It is carved from High-Density-Urethane , in 2.5-D relief. The art, borders, and text are raised over the gold background, painted dark blue-green, gold and white with long-lasting enamels, and then clear-coated twice. It can also be metal-coated in bronze, brass, aluminum, nickel-silver, stainless steel, copper, or it can be gold- or silver leaf-gilded. Natural and stained wood (Cedar, Redwood or Mahogany) versions of this plaque are also available.
