M8002 - Large Double-Faced Aluminum Sign for Brady's Leap Riverwalk Hike & Bike Trail Sign , with Carved HDU Panels
This large (14 ft wide) double-faced Brady's Leap Riverwalk Hike & Bike Trail Sign is made of two 1/4" thick 5052 aluminum plate panels welded front-to-back to an internal 1.5" thick hollow square tube frame in a sandwich configuration. These aluminum panels with intricate artwork on their tops are cut out with a CNC water jet cutter. The text and border are painted with Matthews acrylic polyurethane enamels and clear-coated twice. The bottom of the sign has carved and sandblasted High-Density-Urethane HDU panels mounted on the aluminum panels with epoxy and screws. This large sign is mounted between two steel I-beam posts high enough so hikers and bikers can pass under it on the trail which goes between the two posts.
