These two  back-mounted 4 " x 4" Cedar wood posts provide support for a  " No Soliciting" sign.   Back-mounted post supports are often  used for single-faced signs      (double-faced signs, require side-mounted posts because back-mounted posts obscures the back face of the sign).  Because the posts are closer to the center of the sign, back-mounted  signs usually do not  need to be supported with a bottom horizontal beam or internal steel frame. Unlike side-mounted signs, a third or even a fourth post can be placed at the back of the sign to provide additional support. 

The tops of the posts on this sign rise above the sign, and are cut with pyramid-shaped tops.  The posts are inserted into a 2 ft deep hole in the ground, which are filled with concrete, The bottoms of the posts are treated with a wood preservative. The wood posts are painted with a wood primer and a brown topcoat using a long-lasting wood enamel, matching the background color of the sign. 

The sign can be attached to the posts with round-head screws or bolts through the front face of the sign (with heads painted to match the sign's background) , or with 4 aluminum 2" wide L-brackets  (mounted on the top and bottom on both sides of all of the posts) which have holes for screws that are inserted into the back of the sign and also  to the sides of each post (these are not visible from the front of the sign). We can provide  this installation hardware with the posts. or if you buy both  sign and the posts, we can pre-drill holes in the sign and the post for easy installation.
