This photo  shows the individual letters and logo for the Patio Cafe  carved in 2.5-D multi-level relief from High-Density-Urethane (HDU).  The borders on the "Patio" letters are raised and the interiors recessed.  These letters were  then painted with long-lasting sign enamels and clear-coated. They have embedded threaded studs on the back which were inserted into drilled holes in a building wall. d. 

We can  carve individual or connected letters and numbers in either 2-D relief, or in  2.5-D two-level relief (i.e.,  where the border of the letter can be raised or depressed), or in 3-D bas-relief  (e.g., letter strokes with a prismatic or rounded profile). We carve   letters and numbers from  High-Density-Urethane (HDU) in any shape , which can be painted, or they can be plated with bronze, brass or aluminum metals,  or gilded  with gold, silver  or copper leaf. Alternatively, they can be carved from several  wood species, which can be stained and/or  painted,  sometimes with a Dibond or aluminum  backer for extra strength.
