This  2.5-D  sign for the Heart of the City Playground  is made of Western Red Cedar wood.   The text, border and artwork are carved  in raised relief . The background is sandblasted to bring out the wood grain texture. Giclee photographs will be digitally printed on long-lasting vinyl and placed on the rectangular brown areas. The text, border  and the  artwork are painted with an artist-brush using long-lasting  sign enamels, and clear-coated twice for extra protection. This sign can be placed   on an  outside entrance mounted on an adjacent gate, fence or wall, on a masonry monument base,  between two posts using the two steel side brackets shown in the photo , or hung using  eyehooks on top of the sign attached to snap-links or chains from an overhead beam or scroll bracket mounted on a post.
