Above is a photo of a 3-D high-density-urethane (HDU) wall plaque featuring the badge for the Police of the City of Franklin, Virginia. This plaque is carved with the elevated areas, such as text and badge, painted metallic gold. This can also be fabricated using 24K gold-leaf gilding, which gives a brighter gold finish.Features on the badge are rounded, rather than flat, making this a true 3-D plaque. After all hand-painting is done, the plaque is clear-coated twice. It can also be metal-coated in bronze, brass, copper, aluminum,silver or gold.
