The sign shown above is 2.5-D carved map of the roads and buildings (including unit numbers) for a residential community, Beacon Hill Colony. This map sign is placed between two wood posts on the entrance street to the apartments. Building symbols are elevated above the background, with unit numbers engraved. After painting, the entire sign is clear-coated twice.
