Above is a photo of an engraved (V-carved) High-Density-Urethane residence name sign, "The Beckers". The text, and border are engraved (V-carved) into the smooth background . The Cardinal is carved in 3-D bas-relief and epoxied onto the sign as an applique. The sign is spray-painted black, and the text, cardinal and border are artist-brush painted . The entire sign is then clear-coated gloss twice for additional UV protection. The light spot is a flash reflection from the camera.
